Lincoln Award – Questions & Answers

LincolnAwardThe Lincoln Award is an employability framework designed to support, enhance and recognise extra-curricular activity. Further information about the Lincoln Award, including how to apply, is available on the Careers and Employability website. You are required to participate in several social and learning activities in order to complete The Lincoln Award. Attendance on the ELC In-sessional courses counts toward your activity record.

Full attendance on an In-sessional English language course counts as one of the ‘chosen activities’ for the Lincoln Award International.

I need to confirm my attendance on the In-sessional courses for The Lincoln Award, how do I do this?

Please email englishlanguage@lincoln.ac.uk. In the email, you should provide:

– Your full name
– Your student ID number
– The term you attended (Term 1/2/3)
– The name of the course(s) you attended
– The level of the course(s) you attended

Our administrators will then send an email to both you and the Careers and Employability team to confirm your attendance.  The Careers and Employability service staff should accept this as evidence of your attendance on the In-sessional courses and sign your Lincoln Award folder.

If you have further questions about The Lincoln Award International, please contact the Careers & Employability team.
